• Street-oriented short block with the VR38 4.3L capacity upgrade kit
• Rated for up to 1000 N-m of torque
• Raises low-speed torque for more comfortable street driving
• Track or high-power use is directed to a different HKS product
• Uses HKS-original main studs with upsized threads
• Block threads were upsized to accept the larger studs
• Line boring keeps the bearing journals round despite the higher clamping force
• Main and rod bearings were selected after extensive testing
• Includes a crank damper designed for VR43 engines to reduce torsional vibration (accessory part)
