Ferodo FCP1628W Brake Pads

If you're looking for reliable brake pads for your BMW, the Ferodo FCP1628W is an excellent choice. Designed as replacement pads for OEM calipers, these pads deliver exceptional performance on both the street and the track.

Key Features

• Fade Resistance: The DS1.11 compound offers impressive max temperature and fade resistance, ensuring consistent braking performance even under extreme conditions.
• Durability: While not as long-lasting as the DS3.12, the DS1.11 still provides a commendable lifespan compared to many other pad compounds, making it a solid choice for endurance racing.
• Feel and Feedback: With a moderate friction coefficient, the DS1.11 requires slightly more pedal force than the DS3.12. Many drivers appreciate this feel, especially when cornering, as it allows for better control on street tires.
• Cold Performance: Be aware that the DS1.11 can produce noise when cold, which may not be ideal for everyday driving. However, they are gentler on discs compared to the DS3.12.
• Price Point: Competitively priced, the DS1.11 is produced with similar materials to the DS3.12, making it a great value for performance enthusiasts.
