Cygnus Performance X-1 Classic Edition coilover system for the 2015-2021 WRX / STI (VA platform). The Classic Edition is designed as a balanced street and performance suspension package for drivers who want improved handling, reduced body movement and more responsive chassis behavior while maintaining reasonable road comfort. It uses application-specific digressive monotube dampers and independent ride-height adjustment, allowing vehicle height to be changed without relying solely on spring preload. The system is intended for daily driving, spirited street use, autocross and occasional track use, depending on the final setup. The X-1 platform is rebuildable, serviceable, revalvable and upgradeable, providing flexibility for future changes to the vehicle or driving goals.

Classic Edition (per Cygnus): European-style digressive valving, Swift springs, high-caster camber plates, black top hats and lower mounts, Group 5 ester-based synthetic oil, fully assembled with preload preset. Long Travel option and Motorsport shock upgrade available by edition.
