The CSF B58 Thermal Rejection Competition Spacer is a next-level upgrade for the CSF B58 Super Manifold, made from KIYLEX - a patented high-performance polymer as strong as aluminum that withstands temperatures up to 1100°F. This spacer insulates the intake manifold from conductive heat transfer from the cylinder head, reducing manifold temperatures to lower Intake Air Temperatures (IATs), improve charge air cooler efficiency, and combat heat soak.

The spacer is especially useful for drag and roll-racing events where vehicles sit in staging lanes between races, causing extreme heat soak as insufficient airflow passes over the front mount heat exchanger when idling. Because the billet aluminum Super Manifold conducts heat more readily than the OEM plastic manifold, adding the Thermal Rejection Spacer reduces this transfer by absorbing and dissipating heat rather than conducting it to the manifold.
