APR Performance Carbon Fiber Hood Vent Scoop Honda FK8 Civic Type R 2017-2021

If you're looking to give your Honda FK8 Civic Type R a little extra edge, you might want to consider this carbon fiber hood scoop. It’s not just for show; this scoop really works to keep your engine bay cool by funneling in fresh air while pushing out the hot stuff. Trust me, that’s a game changer when you’re pushing your car to its limits. Plus, it helps reduce lift at high speeds by relieving pressure from the engine bay, which can make a noticeable difference when you’re tearing up the track or cruising on the highway.

Now, let’s talk about the build quality. This scoop is made using a pre-preg carbon fiber manufacturing process, which means it’s vacuum-bagged and cured in an autoclave at high temperatures. What does that mean for you? Well, it translates to top-notch durability and a killer strength-to-weight ratio. You’re getting a lightweight piece that’s built to last, and that’s something every car enthusiast can appreciate.

The finish is another highlight. It’s treated with a fade-resistant clear coat that’s UV-stable, so you won’t have to worry about it losing its luster after a few sunny days. Each piece is hand-polished to a brilliant shine, making sure it looks as good as it performs.

Oh, and you won’t have to deal with any extra work when it comes to installation. The grill mesh comes pre-installed, so you can skip the hassle of transferring the factory mesh over. And let’s not forget, this vent sits a bit higher compared to the OEM piece, giving your ride a more aggressive look while also enhancing functionality.

Fitment:
This scoop is designed specifically for the Honda Civic Type R from 2017 to 2021, so you can be confident it’ll fit like a glove.

If you’re ready to take your Civic to the next level, the APR Performance Carbon Fiber Hood Vent Scoop (CF-917005) is definitely worth considering.
