AEM Cold Air Intake System 21-492B for Volkswagen Jetta, Golf MK4/MK5 2.0L 4-Cyl

The AEM 21-492B Cold Air Intake System is engineered to enhance airflow and improve engine performance by replacing the restrictive factory air intake components in select Volkswagen models. This system is specifically designed for the Volkswagen Golf MK4 (1999-2004), Golf MK5 (2005), and Jetta (1999-2005). It features an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, strategically relocated to the driver-side wheel well to lower intake air temperatures and optimize horsepower gains.

Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum, the intake tubing is finished in a durable blue powder coat that not only looks good but also resists corrosion. The design incorporates all necessary provisions for factory emissions control devices, including a mass air flow sensor and breather hose, along with a replacement silicone vacuum hose. The tapered AEM Dryflow air filter, made from oil-free synthetic media, offers excellent filtration and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring cleaning, depending on driving conditions.
