The Turbosmart Gas Valve Actuator is a pneumatic actuator that uses a spring and diaphragm to operate a mechanical valve, with reference air pushing on the diaphragm against an opposing spring. Supplied as a modular system for custom, industrial and automotive applications, it uses a V-band mounting system to suit nearly any application within the valve diameter and stroke specification.

Based on the GenV External Wastegate Series, it carries over its motorsport- and industry-proven poppet-style performance and reliability, and suits small, low-volume or one-off external wastegate needs. Optional upgrades include a Hall effect position sensor cap, high-pressure cap (springs up to 50 psi) and inverted diaphragm system.
