Stopper-type metal head gasket that seals with a stopper instead of a grommet or bead, which can weaken over time. It has more plate layers and a molded stopper ring around each combustion chamber. It is the most expensive of HKS's three metal gasket types. HKS recommends it with a Capacity Upgrade Kit or Supercharger Kit. The stopper structure is designed to resist leakage under high gas pressure, and a special coating on the head and cylinder surfaces is said to improve sealing when bolts are tightened.
